Kentuckiana Kampground is a privately owned campground.  All visitors must register and get a parking pass.  All visitors staying past 5:00 PM on Saturdays must pay $5.00 per adult.  Children are FREE.  Visitors choosing to include the opry show are $10.00 for adults and children are FREE.

Hopedale Town-wide Yard Sales Friday and Saturday

7:00 – 8:00 PM – Happy New Year! Welcome back campfire social / 2025 kids’ activity fundraising kickoff at the West Shelter.  Let’s ring in the new year of camping with a hoot and a holler, flashing of lights and tooting of horns.  Campfire music and s’mores in a bag, hot dogs and popcorn selling for 55 cents each; proceeds go toward activity fund; each in honor of Kentuckiana’s 55th year.  

May 3

5:00 PM – Potluck for Seasonal and Monthly Campers in the rec hall. Bring a covered dish (NO DESSERTS) and your own table service. Campground provides the chicken.  Cake will be served at the meeting in the Opry House afterward.
6:00 PM – Dessert in the Opry House as we celebrate 55 years.  Spin and win for prizes.  A brief camper meeting will include campground update and rule overview.

8:00 AM – Flea Market set up at various campsites.  You MUST be a camper to sell fleas.
8:00 AM – Flea Market Scavenger Hunt – get games sheets at the office counter.  Find 10 to get a free popsicle.
9:00 AM – Bocce Ball Meet at the East Court

9:00 AM – Bocce Ball Tournament- at the East Shelter. Sign up in the Rec Hall 8:00-8:30.   $5.00 registration fee.
1:30 PM – Canvas Connections Painting Class –  in the Rec Hall, on a 16 x 20″ canvas.   Open to all ages that can handle a paintbrush.  No experience necessary.  Painting example, details and sign up sheet are on the table in the Rec Hall.  Please sign up in Rec Hall asap so we have enough for all.  Cost is $20.  Pay upon arrival. 
For those who choose to do an alternate project, there will be ceramics/wood/pre-sketched canvas kits available ranging in price from $2-$49.  Take & Make kits also available – paint at your campsite!
2:00 – 4:00 PM – Foam Party by That Kid Place next to the Basketball Court.  Mega foam cannons, custom built foam truck shooting  enough foam to fill a house.  Plan on getting wet.  Fun for all ages.  A nonprofit company supporting special needs kids. Thatkidplace.com.  DOUBLE THE FUN Bucket! – a donation bucket for the activity fund will be a the party and the campground will match donations up to $200.
5:30 – 7:00 PM – Kentuckiana Outside Jam (band donations appreciated)  & Hamburger Day Picnic in the West Area. Hamburger meals are $7 and include hamburger, chips & cookie.  Hot Dog meals are $2.50 and include hot dog, chips & cookie. All proceeds go toward the activity fund.
May’s 50/50 Bord Winners will be drawn at 6:30pm.  You do not have to be present to win.


May 26
10:15 AM – Honor Day
Please join in along the parade route down Rosemary Ct. and Country Club to honor our Kentuckiana veterans in a golf cart parade.  Veterans please gather at the Rec Hall in your cart.  Contact the office if you need a cart.  The parade will end at the Veterans tree gazebo for the TAPS Ceremony. 

May 30
7:00 – 7:30 PM – FREE Popcorn in the Rec Hall.  Come up for a free bag to enjoy at your campsite.

Every dog has its’ day!
7:00 – 8:00 PM – Doggy Ice Cream Social and Yappy Hour. 
Free ice cream for dogs and humans.  Friendly leashed pets are welcome for this howling good time. A donation jar and 50/50 board will be available to help support the Tazewell County Animal Protective Society (TAPS). 

June 21
9:00 AM –  Bocce Ball – at the East Court
10:30 AM – Pet Parade Paws for a Cause  Costumes and decorated golf carts optional. Both Golf carts with pets and walked pets are welcome. Meet at the Rec Hall to parade down Rosemary Ct and
Country Club to the west shelter. Watch the parade and join in on the 50/50 boards and donation jar to help support the Tazewell
County Animal Protective Society (TAPS). 
12:00 PM – Hot Dog Lunch at the Rec Hall.  Donations and 50/50 board help support the Tazewell County Animal Protective Society (TAPS)
12:30 – 2:00 PM – Canvas Connections Painting  – “Pawsome Flowers”  See the example and sign up in the Rec Hall.  Immediately after the Pet Parade…bring your dog/cat over to the grassy area next to the Rec Hall.  We will “PRINT” your pet’s paws onto canvas (with the owner’s help) using pet-safe painting supplies.  You choose the colors.  There will be a paw clean-up area.  After printing, you’ll take your pet back to your campsite, then return with your canvas  to complete your masterpiece by adding the floral details. All pets MUST be on a leash and not allowed to “meet each other” or play together for their/our safety.  Cost:  $20 (with a portion going to TAPS shelter).  If you’d like to help the dogs/cats out even more…you can bring items to donate items to TAPS. There will be a donation box for food, treats, blankets, cat litter, paper towels, beds and toys.

Hotter than July Deal!
Double the fun on our double nickel anniversary! Camp Christmas in July on the 11th & 12th, leave your camper set up for July 13 – 17 then camp the following weekend (Kids Fishing Derby 18 & 19) for 25% off your total camping fee.  Save gas & time and have double the family fun.  All Christmas in July & Fishing Derby activities are FREE.  ($121.50 which is a savings of $40.50)  There is an additional $2 per day fee if using A/C.  Make your reservations EARLY while spaces are available.

July 3
4:00 PM – Hopedale Park 3.5 miles from Kentuckiana.  Enjoy the carnival, food and entertainment beginning at 4 pm.
9:00 PM – Patriotic Golf Cart Parade Decorate your golf car in style.  Winner gets $170 Kentuckiana Kash!

July 4 
10:00 AM  – Hopedale Park – Enjoy the morning parade, carnival, food and entertainment, including fireworks!  (3.5 miles from Kentuckiana)
1:30 PM –  Patriotic Little Kids/Family Parade Meet at the Rec Hall.  All participants get a bomb pop.  $25 First Prize.
2:00 PM –  Patriotic Big Kids Parade Meet at the Rec Hall.  All participants get a bomb pop.  $25 First Prize.

July 5
9:00  AM – Bocce Ball at the East Court 
10:45  AM – Gaga Ball meet at the Rec Hall
1:00  PM – Pie & Ice Cream Promenade – Sit back and relax along the parade route to enjoy FREE pie & ice cream served to you with patriotic flair!
2:30  PM – Super Soaker – 6-12-year-olds water fight on hayrack.  Bring your water guns.  Campers along the parade route, have your hoses ready.
