Kentuckiana Kampground is a privately owned campground. All visitors must register and get a parking pass. All visitors staying past 5:00 PM on Saturdays must pay $5.00 per adult. Children are FREE. Visitors choosing to include the opry show are $10.00 for adults and children are FREE.

10:15 AM – Honor Day Please join in along the parade route down Rosemary Ct. and Country Club to honor our Kentuckiana veterans in a golf cart parade. Veterans please gather at the Rec Hall in your cart. Contact the office if you need a cart. The parade will end at the Veterans tree gazebo for the TAPS Ceremony. Taps meet at the Veterans Tree by the west Gazebo

Country Club to the west shelter. Watch the parade and join in on the 50/50 boards and donation jar to help support the Tazewell
County Animal Protective Society (TAPS). Help support the cause by having a hot dog for lunch at the shelter. Donations accepted.
12:30 PM – Canvas Connections Painting – “Pawsome Flowers” See the example and sign up in the Rec Hall. Immediately after the Pet Parade…bring your dog/cat over to the grassy area next to the Rec Hall. We will “PRINT” your pet’s paws onto canvas (with the owner’s help) using pet-safe painting supplies. You choose the colors. There will be a paw clean-up area. After printing, you’ll take your pet back to your campsite, then return with your canvas to complete your masterpiece, in the Rec Hall, by adding floral details. All pets MUST be on a leash and not allowed to “meet each other” or play together for their safety. Cost: $20 (with a portion going to TAPS shelter). If you’d like to help the dogs/cats out even more…you can bring items to donate items to TAPS. There will be a donation box for food, treats, blankets, cat litter, paper towels, beds and toys in the Rec Hall.
For those who choose to do an alternate project or do not have a pet at the campground, there will be ceramics/wood/pre-sketched canvas kits available from $2-$49. Take & Make kits also available – paint at your campsite!

Halloween Weekend
We encourage everyone to decorate their camper and golf cart. It is not a contest. 50/50 boards will be present at some activities or at the office this weekend to help support activities…Drawing for boards will be following the parade at 3:00 in the opry house. Do not need to be present to win

5:00-6:30 or until supplies last Weiner Roast West Shelter ; Hot dogs; condiments, chips, marshmallows & drink; take and go from hot dogs done in the roaster or bring your own fork to roast a hot dog and marshmallow on the fire near the west shelter; If there is inclement weather, take & go hot dogs, chips, & drink will be in the rec hall
7:00-9:00 Spook Holler If you dare………..
-see more by walking it
-ride your golf cart through it
-ride on the trailer wagon (loads near west shelter)
***No pets…. no masks through Spook Holler please; no grabbing the spooks; golf carts & walkers yield to wagons Golf carts enter from Randy Road on west side
7:00 Trunk or Treat;in grassy area near rec hall; bring up your golf cart, wagon or lawn chair at 6:45 to set up if participating to pass out treats; pass out treats to the costumed kiddos;
7:30-9:00 Halloween Carnival Games East Bocce Shelter; fun kid games, prizes, and photo ops
7:30 Kids Wagon Ride toddlers-8 years old around the campground (not in the holler); load and unload by east big shelter

9:00-2:00 I Spy….. Search for the Kentuckiana Pumpkins scattered in the campground Kids get your I Spy pumpkin stamp card at the office. Look for pumpkins scattered around the campground. As you spy each one, stamp the matching pumpkin on your card with the stamp attached to the pumpkin and continue until you’ve found the whole pumpkin family. Claim your treat for spying and stamping all the pumpkins at the inside office
9:30-10:30 Kids Crafts Crafts for all ages. Meet in the rec hall.
10:30-12:00 Inflatables by Fun on the Run grassy area by rec hall
11:30 Nickels in the Straw kids 5 and under behind rec hall; Hunt for nickels in the straw by age ;a Kentuckiana Tradition
1:00 –2:15 Foam Party (back by popular demand) on basketball court west side; foam cannon by That Kid Place
3:00 Kids Masquerade Parade – Meet by opry house exit door. Participants will start the parade by entering the door by the concession stand and parade down the front of stage and then to the middle aisle to the back of the opry house. All age groups will parade together. Participants will parade a second time through the opry house as judges select the top 6 entries. All participants will be given a trick or treat bag and a half dollar. The top 6 entries will be awarded a trophy.
Parade viewing– People may sit in any opry chair or bench to view the parade.
Immediately following the parade in the opry house, there will be the drawings for the Fall 50/50 boards.
7:00-8:30 Kentuckiana Opry no intermission at this show; Doors open at 6:30 with concessions available. All blue ticket opry fans and band will be loaded for spook holler near the opry house following the show.
8:30-9:30 Spook Holler (walk thru, golf carts, and limited wagons) Load wagons by west shelter. Opry blue ticket holders load by opry house.

Check out time before 4 on Sunday. Office closes promptly at 4:00 for the season.
ALL season and monthly campers must have their meters read and electric pd before 4 PM on October 27th. You can pay your final electric bill anytime in October. Usage after the electric payment will roll over to next year. Anyone entering the campground after Oct 27th, must call first & set up a time.
